Seattle Team Read Coach Application Submitted!

Thank you for submitting your application to be a reading coach with Seattle Team Read during the 2023-24 school year! We look forward to reviewing your application, and will be in touch soon.

So, what’s next? Your application will now go through 4 steps before you can be hired:

1. Your application must be approved

2. If you elected to receive hourly pay and have not previously worked as a paid Team Read coach, you must successfully complete a Seattle Public Schools’ hourly hire packet and provide valid identification. Team Read will email you the appropriate forms.

3. You must successfully attend coach training. Training invitations will go out to selected applicants mid-September to October.

4. You must accept and confirm your site placement.

Please take a look at our Coach Applicant Guide, which will assist you throughout the entire Team Read application and onboarding process. You’ll find a timeline with important due dates, an overview of school district applications, and a detailed walkthrough of the federal I-9 and W-4 forms (if you chose to receive service-learning credit, you only have to pay attention to the timeline).
