Team Read is fortunate to have been selected, more than once, by Adobe’s employee-driven philanthropic giving that has provided grant support for our after school and summer tutoring programs. The grants awarded have funded the core work of our reading pairs, as well as a math tutoring program pilot and fun reading incentives for our summer program.
Earlier this year, Team Read enjoyed yet another aspect of Adobe engagement. Through Adobe’s Pro Bono Residency, we were provided with a team of two volunteers to help us think about our communications efforts and what we should consider as we strive to educate new communities about Team Read’s impact. The technical assistance – time and talent – is a gift that can be hugely beneficial to smaller nonprofits like Team Read and far exceeded what we had anticipated.
